Please remember that many of these have video so you may not be able to see the entire sequence. The key words are illustrated with photos and video in the "Words" section.

Students hear a main sentence accompanied by a photo or short video clip. They are then challenged by a wide variety of activities (correlated to CASAS) that build upon the basic sentence, including: a picture glossary, related questions and answers, and sentence reconstruction (cloze). A "speak" feature allows students to say the sentences, questions, answers, and vocabulary items, play them back, and compare their pronunciation to the model voice.

This site is under construction. I will add screen shots, scripts, activities, and handouts from workshops. The community of teachers using Sound Sentences are welcome to add materials.
