Many people are interested in studying the Christian Bible because of its historical and cultural significance. That interest grows as they find the Bible readable and rewarding with intriguing characters and application to their own hearts and minds.

These workbooks are written in a clear and understandable "world English." No prior knowledge of or belief in the Bible is necessary, and no religious affiliation is represented. The inductive method allows the Bible to speak for itself.

These workbooks are for you if:

You like to find out for yourself what is true.

You want a fresh look at the Bible, perhaps reading it for the first time.

You want the language in the workbook to be understandable and clear, but the level of thought to be challenging.

You want to feel comfortable to agree or disagree.

You may want to work in a group, meet with a friend,
or study on your own.

Anyone Can Teach

The format of the workbooks makes it possible for anyone to teach or lead another; one does not even need to be a native speaker of English. Because of this, it is a great tool for Christian students in EFL settings or for international students and spouses anywhere. It can be used one-on-one, in a small group, in a class, or for self-study. Christians could buy a copy for their friends who are returning overseas and discuss it over email. International Christians returning home could start a discussion group with their friends. People all over the world enjoy practicing their English with friends, and more people than we can imagine would be interested in an introduction to the Christian Bible.

Special Note for ESL/EFL Teachers

We have developed an approach to content-based ESL/EFL reading which focuses on meaning while developing reading and discussion skills and strategies. Thought-provoking questions and an informal yet academic atmosphere communicate to participants that their intellect, opinions, and questions are being taken seriously. The inductive approach to the scriptures helps them to take the text seriously. They will be comfortable with the language level, but they will be challenged with the level of thought. Once completed, a leader's guide, updates, and additional activity sheets for language learners will be sent free to anyone who purchases a copy.
